The abstract presents basic social and demographic indicators for 2000-2010, characterizing the number, the structure and the reproduction of the population, the data on state of health of population and economic activity, material living and housing conditions, consumer prices, state of environment, education, culture.

The   publication  is  intended  for  the state administration bodies of the Commonwealth of Independent State and interstate CIS bodies’, as well as for staff in  the  field  of  social  policy and demography, economists, statisticians, businessmen, students and mass media.

 

External Trade of the CIS Countries 2010, Statistical abstract, (Russian-English Version)

The statistical publication contains statistical data on external trade in commodities (i.e. excluding export and import transactions of services; for Uzbekistan – including services) of states-participants of the Commonwealth between each other and other countries of the world:
             - value of exports and imports, foreign trade balance and, of which by main partners;
             - structure of exports and imports by main sections and commodity groups;
             - exports and imports of basic goods in kind and in value, of which by main  trade partners;
             - value of exports, imports, external trade balance of some countries of the world.

       The source of these data was information of the corresponding national agencies of CIS responsible for foreign trade statistics, the data contained in freight customs declarations (FCD) filled in by declarants when receiving  customs clearance, as well as statistical accounting of the participants of external economic activity.
 

The statistical publication “Market goods and services in the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States” contains data on retail trade and market services of the  Commonwealth countries  for the period 2000 - 2010.

The publication includes information on volumes of sales of commodities and dynamics of market services rendered to population, characteristics of trading network, consumption of foodstuffs by  population and formation of structures of market economy  in trade and  sphere of market services, development of burses activities.

The yearbook contains  generalized comparable statistical materials on the basis of official data of the national statistical services of the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States, characterizing socio-economic situation in the Commonwealth countries  by main indicators of macroeconomics, branch economy, external trade, social sphere for 2000-2010. International comparisons are given for some indicators. Brief methodological explanatory notes are given for the main indicators. The abstract is published in Russian and English. The publication is intended for managerial bodies of the Commonwealth countries, businessmen, economists, statisticians and other specialists. The yearbook  may be available in electronic form.

The compendium contains systematized statistical information on the main indicators of economic development of the CIS member-states in 2005-2010 and the 1st half of 2011. It is the eighth edition of this compendium (the previous ones were released in 1997, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2009); commencing 2001 it has been prepared on the bilingual basis – in Russian and in English.The compendium includes the data of the System of National Accounts (SNA) on rates of economic growth, structure of economy, production, use and cost structure of Gross Domestic Product (GDP), fixed assets and other selected elements of the national wealth. The compendium also contains such macroeconomic indicators as indices of industrial and agricultural production, investment and some others. It contains the brief analytical review of the main macroeconomic tendencies in the CIS countries in 2005-2010.

The publication contains main indicators characterizing important aspects of economic development of  the Commonwealth  of  Independent  States for 2007-2010 and I quarter 2011: financial situation - indicators of state budgets, money circulation and credit, financial markets, financial activities of economic entities, formation of saving of population, external debt and exchange rates; investment activities - investment capital, investment in fixed capital; dynamics of producer and consumer prices. Selected financial indicators by the countries of the world are also included.

 The abstract contains the data on exports and imports of the CIS countries by countries  and commodities, average export and import prices and extended balance of the most important kinds of products of the CIS  countries. The sources of statistical data for this publication are the data of national departments of the CIS countries responsible for external trade statistics.
